Why Bill wrote this book:
"After suffering a stroke in 1986 many of my friends expressed concern that the research and experience I gained during the past 45 years could be lost. During my rehabilitation I managed to write two books on "muscle manipulation" on humans, which sold really well.
This apparently was of little help to the Horse people, who came to me for professional help and advice for their animals. So to all those people here it is at last.
The mechanism of the animal body has always fascinated me and even though it appears very complex it is basically common sense. Their bodies comprise a series of muscles, ligaments, tendons, blood vessels, nerves and fascia - for efficiency each of these have an optima resting place or groove from which it operates. Put simply, when they get out of alignment of their designated groove they give problems ranging from pain to an inability to function with certain limbs.
My method removes misalignments. This then permits the blood to flow normally again, bringing much needed oxygen to that part of their body. In addition, releasing the "pinched" nerves usually brings instantaneous relief from pain."
